Here at Bakercreek Farm Equines we pride ourself on a low horse to staff ratio, enabling us to individualize care for each of our equine companions. The Barn Managers live on the farm, therefore a close eye is kept on every animal that resides at BFE. Every horse has their own feed program based on Purina Stategy, Equijewel Rice Bran and Bermuda Hay. Supplements are fed as needed and electrolytes are given with any dramatic change in weather or drinking habits of the horse. Lisa Tackett is our massage therapist whom also offers alphasonic treatments for our horses as needed. Dr. Schrader is our Equine Chiropractor, whom has helped our horses tremendously. Dr. Joyce Merryman, D.V.M. is the wonderful vet that makes sure all of the animals are healthy. She can get to the farm in less than twenty minutes!
