Here at Bakercreek Farm Equines we pride ourself on a low horse to staff ratio, enabling us to individualize care for each of our equine companions. The Barn Manager lives on the farm, therefore a close eye is kept on every animal that resides at BFE. Every horse has their own feed program based on Coop Advantage, Beet Pulp, and Orchard Grass, Bermuda Grass or Alfalfa Hay. Supplements are fed as needed and electrolytes are given with any dramatic change in weather or drinking habits of the horse. Amanda Moretz of Centerline Equine Massage is our massage therapist who keeps our horses muscles in the best possible condition. Nancy Young is our Animal Chiropractor whom has helped our animals, both large and small, tremendously. Dr. Joyce Merryman, D.V.M. is the wonderful vet that makes sure all of the animals are healthy. She can get to the farm in less than twenty minutes! William Holliday, winner of multiple Iron Man Awards, is our farrier and works in conjunction with our vet and chiropractor.
